Dear colleagues and friends,
We are writing to invite you to take part in a workshop on interpreting spheroids in Paleolithic sites that will take place on October 9, 2023, at Tel-Hai College in the Upper Galilee, Israel.
The workshop is being funded by the Gerda Henkel Foundation in the framework of an ongoing collaborative project between Spain and Israel (IPHES-CERCA, Hebrew University, Tel-Hai College) entitled: Lower Paleolithic Spheroids Project (LPSP). The partners of the Spheroid project as well as other scholars studying spheroids will attend the workshop.
The workshop will be dedicated to presentations and discussion about spheroids - stone balls and all related subjects. You are all invited to attend the lectures, and we are very interested in your contributions to this subject. If you would like to present a talk during the workshop, please write to gonen@telhai.ac.il with the title and topic of your talk. Please answer before August 15.
